Fabulously Frugal Friday- Power of an Hour

I worked on Power of an Hour today. I am working on this next year's Power of an Hour so I can have it up before school starts.  This makes my life sooooo much easier.

I also stopped by Buy Low and bought 12 oz. frozen orange juice for .99 a can.  We only drink it on Saturday mornings.  I am mostly a water drinker...

I took my friend shopping.  She needed new shoes.  She found them and bought them.

Then we went around the corner to Taipan Trading Co. and and I saw the solution to my desire to have an indoor garden. I wanted to build an open garden shelf at the end of my dinning table, between the table and the sliding glass door. My door faces the southwest and has sun all winter. Taipan had display shelves that were ladders with tempered glass shelves to put plants on.  Theirs is for display only, I will have to build my own.  OK, my imagination is just going 280 as I figure this one. I wanted to have fresh salad veggies all winter!  I will have some winter gardens outside.  We will grow potatoes and carrots in them.  This indoor garden will facilitate herbs, lettuces, radishes, and more!  I can paint mine white, add vinyl lettering, and let the growing plants add the diversity of color.  Five shelves of five feet in length and 12 inches wide, give me about 25 sq feet of indoor winter garden!
